The "MP Tree Saver": Serious about tree damage and line chafe

    http://www.masterpull.com/cpage.cfm?cpid=426

Nobody in the consumer hammock industry should dare claim a trademark infringement over this. These guys are serious.

You know, if I don't lay off the doughnuts, I'm gonna have to seriously consider a set of these when I hang!

at $75.00 per piece for the 1" it's a little rich for my blood. But the hammock fabric would definitely be the weak link in the system.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Other than lip service, this ain't about tree damage.

I'm with you, and given that its only 1" across which is the same size as most webbing tree straps the tree gains nothing. It may even lose on that as its round vs flat meaning there may very well be a smaller surface area in contact with the tree. The weight limit is quite impressive though.
