ViDEO: The Hickery Brothers in the Storm on Rock Jock

Went on an 8 night backpacking trip to the Linville Gorge Wilderness Area in North Carolina with my brother Hickery.
What a time. Had a sinus infection the whole way!
This is the 7th night of the trip with an incredible lightning storm while on the Rock Jock Trail...... what a show.

I will be doing these videos out of order but was just itching to see the storm again.

Thanks for watching and Whooooo Buddy.

I'm sayin' it...Awesome! Loved the contrast between the wicked lightning and the butterfly under the tarp.

Really liked that. One of the things i've missed in BC having spent my childhood in southern ontario is lightening storms. I love sittin outside watching lightening when its around altho i usually am not on the top of a ridge when i do it. Thanks for that.

Definitely an awesome video. Thanks for sharing. Reminded me of my younger days in Orlando. Love to watch the lightning shows. They are better than any campfire, no need to collect wood. Great hanging site, great food, and a great show. Might need to rename that campsite to the "Bellagio".

We're still layin' in the hammocks here...we ain't gone anywhere.
I like your style Shug...smelling the flowers (filming the butterfly) taking lead over making miles! Nice part one (so far), I rate it...

Shug. An amazing video, as usual. I can only imagine how it feels to sit and watch this. 7.1 surround sound and a widescreen. I'm jealous.

    WOW

Awesome trip Shug... Those views and lightening strikes were amazing... You probably burned through some serious Karma points up there on that peak during that wicked storm and walking away from it. Points well spent if you ask me.

Like I told my daughter when she was bummed out when a thunderstorm almost washed out our Victoria day fireworks...

"God's puts on the best firework display ever... Our little sparklers just don't come close"

    Can't wait for part 2!!!
