That's the issue addressed by the pillow envelope seam and Ch@rlie's cat cut and shock cord along the bottom of the ridge cap. All of these design elements help keep the ridge cap down in a stiff wind.
Actually, the biggest effect a strong wind has on the TED bug net, in my experience, is that it deflects the sides inward, which can cause a gap. That's why I added mini-carabiners in the center of the sides to hook on to my ridge line. Since I added the carabiners, I haven't had any gaps caused by strong winds.
