It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold
If you don't mind buying them JRB sells some:

Do a youtube and or Forum search and you should see a couple of ideas on how to make them.
You can use pretty much any cordage for tarp guylines. The idea behind self tensioning lines is they have a short length of shock cord integrated with the static cordage. The lines are set up so the shock cord part of the guyline is pulling the tarp but when the line is pulled to a certain point like if there is string wind, the static cord prevent further pulling once the shock cord reached its maximum stretch.
I don't use them, I like to fiddle so I don't mind retensioning my tarp guylines a few times.

Don't let life get in the way of living.
I use a continuous ridge line for my tarp form tree to tree.
The tarp i put over it, and then use on each side a small rope with prussik knot, to tension the tarp with it's lashes.
To connect the corner lashes on the ground i use shock cord, which i picked up from one of Shug's video's. Before i used normal cord, but i'm much more happier with the shock cord.
Good luck !
