    Tricks to inflating a pad

Because of a sinus situation, I cannot blow up a sleeping pad. The problem is I cannot put any force on my sinuses or it may blow out some work I had to have done on my mouth.

Does anyone have any tricks or gadgets they use to blow up there inflatable pads?

    Thanks
    John

Self-inflating pad is an obvious solution. No need to blow it up.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will take a look at them.

I'm looking for the extra thickness of the non-self inflating pads.

    thanks again

I picked up the instaflator last month for a few bucks. I've just toyed around with it in the living room but it looks like it would work well for this. Its not heavy or very big rolled up, but I bet you could cut the thing in half and save on both since a pad doesn't take that much air anyway.

Make sure you want the extra thickness in an inflated pad inside the hammock. A lot of folks only partially inflate their pads anyway. You don't need the cushioning for comfort and the foam in the pad is what provides the insulation.
