    First Time and Needing Suggestions

So. . it's looking like a 4 day weekend is in the cards for memorial day (yay me) and I'm looking at doing Pen Mar to Harpers Ferry, either in 3 days or 4. I'm using my Hennessy Hammock UL Asym for the first time on the trails, and I was just wondering if anybody had input as to something I might be missing or haven't thought about. I'm not new to hiking, but very new to hammocking. Anybody have a trip report recently from this hike where they wish anything had gone differently?

I've done that section a couple of times. There's one rocky area, and the rest is fairly easy going. It's a beautiful stroll through the Maryland countryside. Not much to it, really. Enjoy!

My bad everyone! I've got the standard backpacking gear, (ultralight msr stove, water filter, knife, ect) but as far as my hammock goes it's completely stock. I was thinking about using my 35 degree bag as peapod style insulation, but should I also bring an additional bag to sleep in? Also, how are the shelters in the area for hammockers? I know it's gonna be super packed so how about areas outside the shelters?

Any good tips for a quick DIY uq would be appreciated, but I'm about to jump over to that section :-)
