Zing-It vrs Dyneema vrs Amsteel

I am familar with Amsteel ( I use it for a lot of suspension stuff, tie outs etc ) but have never used Zing-It or Dyneema lines and familiar with them.

Can anyone enlighten me on the pros and cons of the two lines.

I also just got some Mountainfitter Guywire Dyneema Cord (super lightweight) and do not know if this is the same as the Dyeema lines I am always reading about on the forum or is it a variation.

I'll attempt to get this started with my limited newbie knowledge.

Amsteel Blue and Zing It are both made from Dyneema fibers. The difference is in the diameter, braiding and coatings.

The Amsteel blue used by hammockers is normally 1/8" (~3.2mm) or 7/64" (~2.77mm). Our common use is for hammock suspensions.

The Zing It used is 1.75mm or 2.2mm, has a urethane coating and is somewhat stiff. It is made for aborist's thrown line. Our common use is as tarp suspension and guylines as well as hammock structural ridgelines.

Dyneema is....well, I haven't looked into Dyneema much. A little help here please.

Dyneema is just the fiber. Different things use dyneema fibers (also called Spectra). As gmcttr stated, both AmSteel Blue and Zing-It are made using dyneema fibers. Many climbing strength slings use dyneema. It really just depends on how you use it in a particular strand. I'd reckon you could make clothing out of it if you wanted... (I'm being silly.)
