Since I have the HH snakeskins on the way anyway, I can just use them on the tarp. Should work well there.

Ok, I got my HH items yesterday. I figured I'd try try the snakeskins on the Blackbird just in case. I experienced the same thing. Really too small for the BB. As discussed earlier, the double sided bishop bag works just fine.

The other thing I've noticed is that a cheap $5 foam sleeping pad helps the hammock feel more roomy and seems to lay flatter. I guess that pad is stiff enough to help allow those traits.

Still learning though.......trying to learn by experience in addition to what I read here.
