    Just getting started

Hello everybody! I'm new to this hammock thing and just want to introduce myself. My Mom and Dad turned me onto the hammock hanging lifestyle. I still have some of the more complicated things to figure out, but I've only been hanging for three weeks. At least I'll be comfortable doing it!

    Welcome to the Forums!

You're mom and dad were very good to you to get you into the hanging lifestyle. Just so you know, you'll need some better insulation below you come this fall. A wool blankee will probably serve you well for the summer months, but it's going to compress below you. You'll find some great vendors here, but once you're tall enough to reach the peddle, give some serious thought to the DIY route. Then you can make yourself a binky holder on your ridgeline.

    LOVE IT.

We are expecting our third daughter in August and I will definitely be bringing her up as a hammock hanger.

Not quite chair height but that's OK, we'll let it slide.
    Awesome pic!
