    Nice trip/ gear report! I've only day hiked there, but have been meaning to backpack it. I love the swinging bridge!!

    I just finished making my gravity filter..looks just like yours! LOL I added some fine mesh to the inside of mine because I used a cap instead of a barbed female piece. I think it's a must with the sawyer filter. My tarp lines are set up pretty much exactly the same too....I haven't had any probs with wind and prussiks slipping...could always add one more wrap on the prussik if it did begin to slip..

    Thanks for the explanation. I like the tip to keep the slings on the toggle. I had one of those DUH!!! moments when I saw that.
    That is a whole bunch of chocolate milk you were camped next to. That is a sure sign of spring...

    Yes, it's the breathable one. I really like it thus far and it packs small. I stuff it in the little stuff sack that the Warbonnet tarp door kit came with.
