    Hey easyriver,

We will have to plan a Nova Scotia / Newfoundland hang for 2012 to be held in Newfoundland.

I think this summer will be too full of projects that I must finish such as a complete kitchen tear down and rebuild and a Kiss concert in Grand Falls that I have to take my son to. As well as the regular family vacation and my sister and her family will be home for a visit for two weeks too.
    Take care,
    Bluefin

looking at the IATNL from the viewpoint of a long distance hiker / hammocker I was wondering how is the resupply situation and whether it is generally possible to find a hanging site every night?

Beautiful country! I would love to hike there. I guess it would take good planning to be able to hang every night. Some rock climbing equipment may be required for attaching suspension.

    Hey Hog On Ice,

I have not hiked that trail yet but imagine it would be challenging to resupply easily. It may be hard to hang every night. It may be better to contact the IATNL with these questions if you are considering this type of hike.

    Hey MAD777,

It may be a challenge to hang every night on this trail but I'm not sure as I have not hiked the trail there. I have hiked a few sections in Gros Morne National Park.

You can also check out the East Coast Trail. That is pretty much finished but they are going to develop more trails.
