The wait is over

OK, I know some of you have been waiting to find out what Doctari lost at the Mt Roger's hang out this year & then found later in a place he has looked in / at several times.

Refresher: Last year it was 2 flutes, my pack was emptied at least 4 times looking for them. On the 5th look (& I had stopped looking by then, was just setting up the pack for next trip.) I found them. I've had similar experiences every trip.

THIS year: Lost my BRAND NEW O.R. gaiters. I took them off at the Log House Restaurant parking lot. They were not in Bonsai Hiker's van, They were not in my Jeep, They were not in Firewalker's gear, They were NOT in my gear. Yes, I looked in it ALL, several times. Or at least I think I did A few minutes ago, needing something else & having given up the gaiters as having dropped out of the van on the return home, I found them in the small cooler that had carried my Sat Food offering. The small cooler I had looked in before,,,,, I was sure.

I swear that next year I"m coming naked & with NO gear, so that I can not loose anything. OK, I'll wear clothing, but that's all!!!!

On second thought maybe I just need to stop looking.
