Advice on full time hanging set up

Been sleeping in a hammock for 3 weeks now first week a ENO dbl dlx last 2 weeks a Blackbird. I'm having the best sleep I have had since my back injury. My better half moved me out of the bedroom 2 years ago due to my not sleeping cause of my back. After the last 3 weeks and her having to wake me up on the weekends for morning coffee she wants me back in the bedroom now that I'm sleeping better and won't be keeping her up. So now for bedroom remodel king size bed bye-bye for her new full size sleep number bed. Here is the problem she says I have to get a new hammock as the BB is to outdoorsy she wants "something nice" so I need some help finding this and it also needs to hang in 13 feet of space. Also what kind of under quilt should I use? Thanks for any help in advance.

If aesthetics is an issue, try showing her some south american hammocks(Mayan, Venezuelan or Mexican, they usually comes in a multitude of colours and designs).

If she still don't like it - just sleep in the bed for a night or two. She'll soon realize that a happy well rested man, is a better husband than a stark raving mad psycho(thats whats my better half tells me anyway).

FYI i sleep full time in a hammock because of back issues.

I would like to add a few questions to this thread and I apologize if I am thread Jacking. What do you all use as an UQ/TQ for your indoor hammocks. I like my sleeping bag unzipped fully for indoors, but do you use your outdoor gear full time?

i sleep in this hammock every night with an old down quilt suspended with bungees and carabiners like the jrb method, for a top quilt i use an old sleeping bag that i have removed the zipper from which works great, my feet stay nice and toasty
my hammock is set up at 13'-6" so you should be able to make it work with what you have,
    good luck

I sleep in my hammock in the house, I use an IX UQ and just a random blanket as a TQ and its sometimes only up to my waist. I use my BB inside too, I'm tempted to get a netless one for inside but....I'm comfortable in my BB.

At the moment i'm using my winter incubator(i live in a cold house) and in summer time it's my summer quilt(i use an IX from MacEntyre(now TTTG sells them).

On top i use a sleeping bag....

When i started out, i used a down bed comforter - I tied some heavy duty elastics to each corner.
When hung on the hammock, i then gathered the "open ends" and tied them off to(not suspending it - but to close it out and eliminate to much air circulation.

So this is the hammock she wants me to buy http://www.myhammock.com/proddetail....ssaNova&cat=10
does anyone know if it is a good choice for daily use she chose it because she liked the colors and fringe and also said with an 800# weight rating we could nap together in it. I think its funny how she gets to chose not only her new bed but mine as well
