I made two of these chairs and at every rest stop, my fellow hikers are sniffing around my pack like dogs on a bag of Puppy Chow! Sure beats sitting on a foot square piece of foam on an uneven granite boulder!

My 2 year old grandson likes to swing in his until it flips him out; and he knows it's going to flip! It's great to be 2 years old

I have been toying with the idea of also its capability to be used as an UQ shelf, connecting the whoopies to the hammocks toggles and cinching the gear hammock "tight" to the bottom of the hammock and stuffing the cavity with a sleeping bag or what not.
Glad to hear it! I look forward to the pictures.

The only challenge with the UQ shelf might be that if the tensions aren't right, you could probably squash the insulation so that it didn't work very well. Look forward to hearing the results, though.

Yeah, my Granddaughter loves to hang out in mine when we take a rest break on our hikes. Fortunately, she's grown beyond the flipping stage - getting too big to carry
