WTB Mini Trangia and folding wood stove

Never used a trangia but they look awsome and i hear they are leak proof.
I am also looking for pocket folding stove or the swiss stove really any low priced wood stoves.

I have used the same trangia stove for 22 years now so if you buy one new you will have it for life. I have the MINI and the larger 27 set and they are both great stoves. The mini is a great stove for 1 to 2 people as it will boil 2 to 3 cups of water at a time and the fry pan is a great working feature too. Hope you find what your looking for. love my trangia

RN; you can make a really cheap wood stove with a paint can and soup can. Here's the link

Trangia is a great stove use it just about every time I go out. You can always find the mini Trangia on Ebay. Look around, I got just the stove for $10.

    +1.
The Gargriller w/grill rack and a Trangia is my go to stove now. This is a highly versatile system. It will handle any thing from a small metal cup to my Bugaboo set. Wood burning mode is not as efficient as a Bushbuddy but you don't typically use biomass if you are worried about cooking speed and I like the Trangia with it better than my Clikstand alone.

I too live on the wet side of Washington and have solved the rust problem with these stoves. Rather than using a soup can for the burn chamber, use some hardware mesh to make a burn chamber. A 19x8 piece can be done up to fit inside nicly and then you just crimp it on to the quart can.

Here is a video I just made of mine where you can see how I did it.
