    Finally climashield Apex

So I am going to finally build an UQ.

I have a golite ultra 20, so what weight would I need to get me down to
    20dF.

I am thinking a layer of 5oz + a layer of 2.5oz for a combined 7.5 oz or would 5 oz alone be enough.

Are there any instructions on how to set up the ends, cords etc.

What size would be best. Thinking 48" to keep the bulk down but full length would be nice.

    Thanks

    Greetings

Arrowhead Equipment offers DIY climashield underquilt kits that will include all the extra bits needed to make a proper underquilt.

    Check it out.

    Cheers

I made a 5oz UQ and tried it at 20 deg. a couple weeks ago. I didn't freeze, but it wasn't exactly warm, either. I'd personally add the extra layer if you really want to make 20. Or my plan is to throw a space blanket on top and an IX undercover underneath to make those lower temps.
