That is a great deal. Have people tried these tarps and found them to be reliable? I'm having an inner conflict between "This deal is too good to pass up." and "You get what you pay for." I was hoping to spring for Hennessy Hex fly before my next outing, but under $25 means I can just grab this thing now.

Great tarp for the money. Will require sewing in 2 loops for a conventional pitch however. I love mine. Just bought a second.

WOW- good thing to didn't need it before now. I guess after you made that cool looking tarp, you really don't need this one.

I've had a Guide Gear 12' tarp for almost three years. It's smaller and lighter than my 12' Kelty Noah's tarp.

The Guide Gear tarp has held up through two storms with gusty 50 knot winds without any problems (I do use shock cord on the major tie-outs). I'm very happy with it.
