I changed mine over this week also. I purchased the suspension kit from KRB some time back for my Skeeter Beeter hammock, and swapped this over to the Black Bird list night. Combination of tree straps with ditch clips, whoopie slings, and dutch biners to connect to a continuous loop on the hammock ends, works quite nice.

Whoopies rule! I just got a pair of BloomGorges Elephant Trunks in the PIF thread to use with mine. Can't wait to get them!

I was a bit nervous about doing it after I ordered an all in one setup from smokebait. Believe me, it is very simple.

I'm drawn to the open country. Its where the world makes the most sense. When I put myself out there I always return with something new.

Wags, I don't have a webbing/buckle suspension to weigh but I can offer this. A pair of 6' whoopie slings weighs 40 grams. A pair of our 6' tree huggers weighs 88 grams. And a pair of our toggles weighs 5 grams.

So if you could weigh you webbing/buckles suspension and subtract the above weights, you'd have the savings.
