Any suggestions on the best way to snug up your down quilt to a Clark?
What are you guys using? Gonna get everything out for a test fit and hang but suggestions appreciated.
Thanks

Was just out this weekend in -15 deg C temps with a change to freezing rain during the night, woke up and the tarp was frozen rigid, old man winter threw cold, snow, and rain at us all in one night.
Anyway I've found its difficult to snug up my Jacks R Better Mt Washington 4 UQ when using the poles to keep the hammock canopy up, instead I use two buggies running from the spension to the tabs on top of the hammock where the poles go. This setup keeps the bug net/weather shield off of my face and allows the UQ to fit snugly against my back. Earlier in the year I tried the set up with the poles and ran into cold spots due to poor contact, and it wasn't even below freezing.
Hope this helps.
Exactly the sort of thing I am looking for!
It would be interesting to hear what others are doing-
I wish one of the quilt makers would take a z liner and build a down quote to match with the Velcro...
I would pay big bucks for that option and I know others would too!
I have the Vertex and was looking for a pair of Incubators. Depending on how it sets up I was thinking of sewing velcro to the incubators to line up with the stuff on the Vertex. With the Clark line being a bit pricy and limited in sales compared to the rest of the market I'm not sure I'd see to many cottage venders really making enough off of the deal to be worth the specialty run but I could be wrong. One of the first expenses they would have, of course, would be acquiring the Clark hammocks to model the UQ's after.
I got to believe there would be enough Clark owners interested for one of the quilt makers to do it- And whoever did it would own the Clark market.
Clark sells enough hammocks to stay in business so there is certainly enough Clark UQ business for someone to offer a down alternative.
Maybe I need to look into doing something like that since I'm temporarily out of work. Hmm... I need to make my own UQ anyhow...
Interesting- Hope it's a go!
If he makes one for the Clark I'll bet it would work on the HH's as well since they both have hoops/pullouts in the way for a standard quilt to fit perfectly.
