what design or pattern did you use?? or did you just have the stuff and wing it on the fly.
Thanks,
Dan

definitely wing'd it . Thats a big reason there is no close ups haha. but yea im trying to scavenge some mesh at the moment for pockets. Im also thinking of ways to improve the foam frame, right now the peices are held in place by gorilla duck tape. the bag is very akward to pack and it takes practice just to do it. idk its my 1st diy bag and though it prob wouldnt win anything or last very long under adverse conditions but if i still like and would where it for any weekend camp or a less than extreme bush trip. so all in all its still a work in progress I will deff post a pic once i deem it to be worthy.
Thanks to all who commented. I really liked those links in the one response. very cool. stick around more to come
since the last pic i have switched out the frame for a blue wally pad cut and folded into place. I have also add a larger zipper pouch on one side and improved the hip padding. Im currently making a pack cover out of old jacket coated ripstop, improving vertical compression adding two 1 liter bottle holders and probably another small zip pouch on top lid.
more pics coming soon
