During pre game today I took the old thread injector out of the closet and sewed two webbing loops on my GT ultralight so I can use it with my hennesy tarp, pad, and undercover.
We'll see how it holds up.

Curious to see a picture of that. I have a GT ultralite coming, and already have a HH SS. I was curious if the SS would mate up with the GTU. Where/why did you put the webbing loops on?
fromtalkin' with folkson here, the HHSS should fit most gathered end hammocks that are about the same length and there are even some who have rigged them to the WB's that are 10', a foot longer than the exped. Should be no problem but pics would be great
As for the GTUL, I gave mine away, spent a couple nights out in them. Most people I've let use them didn't care for them and I wasn't exactly comfortable myself, constantly feel like I'm going to fall through it but I do toss and turn alot when I sleep.
id love to see a pic of that. may be something i consider to doing
I'm headed out this weekend .... I'll see about getting some pics up.
As for how, I hung the hammock with the SS on it, marked the two areas where the lines should pass through from the HH then attached two scrap pieces of webbing I had laying around similar to the way it was done on the HH clone pictorial.
Seriously considering a blackbird but this will do for the moment.
