Myself and Listen are in. Sounds like a fun weekend. We could team up on FBC and trail baking with someone else for a presentation.

Hot Dog! I have had the dates penciled in on my pocket brain (read: planner) every since Tim mentioned them in another thread. This is hang will be a great opportunity to educate the general public on hammock camping. It will also be a chance for park officials to see hammock hangers in a positive light. I just bought 250 of the Hammock Forums Collector Cards from the forum store. That we can pass out to people that are interesting in learning more about hammock hanging. As others have already said I will help out in any way that is needed. I've got a small collection of stoves and cooking gear that I can bring. So I'm thinking that perhaps I would like to demonstrate alcohol and wood stove cooking.

Yes, this hang will take the place of the typical spring Gathland hang. If all goes well, and the masses agree, I can see the spring hang at PGF and the fall hang at Gathland.
Great, that is an interactive venue that should be very interesting and educational. I can visualize a picnic table with several stoves cooking up various menu selection for the folks to taste. A couple posters with favorite recipes. It would be cool to invite Sarah herself. Wonder if she'd come? Can I officially write you guys down for a FBC booth?
Yes, I do plan to have a raffle and potluck dinner. Food is always a fun part of our get togethers. Saturday night after the "program" is over.
Maybe you would be willing to put on a quilt demo, explaining the various issues regarding temps and quilt usage. I can see 3-4 hammocks set up with various quilt arrangements on display.Sounds good.
I'll check with the park manager about reserving some sites over at the campground for our wives.
That sounds like a fun idea...and a hammock prize for the winner. I'll write you in for that!

Would it be OK if I made pancakes fro Saturday morning breakfast. Maybe some blueberry pie filling as a topping?
Love the idea and looking forward to going. Jess and Alana are excited too. I am all for making Pinegrove the annual spring Mahha spot.
Peace Dutch

Hey Oh-No,
How would you like to consider a panel discussion on the advantages of hammock hanging? Maybe you could find a couple others to sit on your panel and lay it out. I also thought of you in a DIY booth showing your Cuben stuff.
