I'm really excited to say that we will soon be carrying Insultex at Backwoods Daydreamer Gear. I know I really should wait until it's arrived, but I just couldn't contain myself.

Price will be worked out once I've gotten the shipping cost, but it should be on par with any other by-the-yard retailer(s). I expect to have it available up on the website early next week.

In other news... we're also working on plans for a DIY Backpack, and will be trying to carry all the necessary materials for you to build your own. Protoype 2 is done, and I think once I work the kinks out of it, #3 will be drawn up and available to the HF crowd. It may not be a hammock, but it is hammock related - as I expect you'll be carrying your hammock around in it.

Keep experimenting with DIY Gear.

if I had known I would have waited a week on my order. by the way, it came in Sat while I was gone, and I made the Hammock yesterday, hung in it today. Thanks I was going to order IX elsewhere tonight for the second piece of fabric, guess i will hold off a week.
