    hey all from st.cloud, MN

Just your average backpacker looking around to see whats up. Been watching Shug and thinking a hammock might be the way to go. Really like the blackbird being here in Minnesota and our state bird. Really liking the low impact to the enviroment.
Also I'm a Harley mechanic, mountain biker, really like my little dog.

Hey fellow Minnesotan, welcome to HF. The blackbird is a great hammock and this is for sure the place to answer all your questions. Check out Shug's how to series if you haven't already. There is some great info for hammock noobs in there.

Welcome to HF! The Blackbird is a great choice, you just need to decide on the fabric 1.0, 1.1 or 1.7 and between a single layer or double layer. Search the forums for valuable information about those options!
