    It's an interesting design, but it's far from ideal for all applications.

    It's 3.15 lbs. (without tarp), designed for use with a pad, and I dread to think how much it costs. Definitely not in my hammock future.

    I've seen this one before. Looks like it would be nice for car camping when you can afford a little more comfort, but probably not so much for backpacking. Also, I'm attracted to something a little more simple. You can be just as comfortable in a blackbird imo.

    Derek brought one to the November hang in TX and I tried it out. More of a sitting at home reclining and watching TV hammock. The structural integrity is dependent on the pad, which is not included, and costs a pretty penny. I'll admit it is comfortable to lounge in, but it is not a hiking or camping hammock.
