Its been out for awhile now.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
It's an interesting design, but it's far from ideal for all applications.
It's 3.15 lbs. (without tarp), designed for use with a pad, and I dread to think how much it costs. Definitely not in my hammock future.

WV has been playing with this concept for years. Old news.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Too expensive and too much weight on my back!
Exped has one you can pickup today: http://www.exped.com/usa/en/product-...-hammock-combi
I've seen this one before. Looks like it would be nice for car camping when you can afford a little more comfort, but probably not so much for backpacking. Also, I'm attracted to something a little more simple. You can be just as comfortable in a blackbird imo.
Derek brought one to the November hang in TX and I tried it out. More of a sitting at home reclining and watching TV hammock. The structural integrity is dependent on the pad, which is not included, and costs a pretty penny. I'll admit it is comfortable to lounge in, but it is not a hiking or camping hammock.
