O man i wish i had waited and got the 900 fill down instead of the 800 for that price o well it is still a sweet underquilt.

just to clarify... before this move you stated on your website that the 900 fill option would give an extra 5 degrees toward the temp rating (making a 3S go from 20 to 15 comfort range). this was assumed that you put the same "weight" of down in, but it lofted more due to the extra 100 fill
now with the 900 fill being the only option, is the fill weight going to stay the same, essentially making your summer a 35, 3S a 15, and winter a -5?
Essentially, yes. We are keeping the same weight of down in the quilts so in theory the better loft of the higher grade down will lower the temp rating by a few degrees. We are working on updating the site in all the tables and descriptions that discuss temp ratings and grade of goose down.
Also, orders were made and have yet to be filled will be rewarded for their wait with the free down upgrade. We are trying to make this transition as easy as possible. I understand this might rub a few of the outstanding orders that paid full price for 900 down. The upside is that you are getting a great quilt with 900 down in it at an already great price. However, if you still feel burned, shoot me an email and we can talk about it.
Thanks everyone for your kind words and keep you eyes open for some new happenings over here at Hammock Gear....
