    Sale on Camp Nano Wire

Just checked Backcountry.com and they're having a sale on the Camp Nano Wire biner for $4.87 a piece. They're the polished version (didn't know they came that way) if that matters. Happy Shopping.

Nevermind. Didn't notice until I went to buy them that they only have one. Stupid me.

lol weird timing, I was ordering from Backcountrygear as you posted that. As if it matters I like the anodized version better anyhow. Can't wait to join the cinch buckle crowd!

Try the Trek Light carabiners. 23 grams, 500 kg rated and 5.99 apiece or 9.99 for the pair. They're what I use. Originally, it was just because I couldn't find the Nanos, but now it's because I like them so much. I first bought 2, then 4 more.

Instead of cinch buckles, I use the ropes on my HH ULB and 2 carabiners in the same way as the descending rings. Using the small end of the carabiners guides the rope together, and makes it easier to work with. Faster than straps to loosen and move, and much lighter.

Edit: Someone here suggested them. I think it might have been Angry Sparrow. Whoever it was, thanks a lot!

I missed something. Could you explain how you use the ropes and carabiners to me.
    Thanks,Redbeard
