Final notes before i leave !

My combat weight will be 19kg.
But, then i will dump 2kg of goodies at our first lift.
So i will claim 17 kg

Since, there has been suspicion about cheating with the pack weights,
we have all decided there will be a weight in point at the trail head before heading out

I still miss some gear !
Should i wait 3 hours for the postman or not
    Nae, scr*w that, i'm off !

See you all today or tomorrow !
Don't get yourself killed getting there.

    Live from the hammock!

Getting ready to get up from my hammock this last morning of our adventure. I can hear that Joz is awake but moski is still asleep. Frikk went home 2 days ago because he had to go back to work. We have had a great trip with great weather and great company. Trip reports and pictures will come when we are all safe at home. See you!

Good trip. Nice people. Nice weather. Sunburned nose. Few mosquitoes. Excellent area. Fishing rod forgotten in car. Luxurious meals.

My GPS track covered for day1: 14.3km, day2: 16.7km, day3: 9.3km, day4: 14.4km. Thats 54,7km total at a very comfortable pace. Distance could be wrong because my Garmin GPSmap 62s has trouble recording anything when moving slowly. The Packraft paddlers had to work a bit harder than me at the paddling, but 2kg Packraft is a lot less heavy for the lifts than a 25kg+ Sea Kayak

Winter burrow and incubator worked well even in summertime. Lowest night temp was -1.5°C, highest daytime temp must have been around 20°C. My tarp ripped along one short edge when taking it down in camp2, but can still be used. Next time I'll loosen the leeward side first in windy conditions. Sea Kayak, hammock setup + a lot of luxuries on my part resulted in a HEAVY load, but I managed. Thanks a lot for the few but essential helping hands on the difficult lifts!

Driving 7.5 hours each way is a bit much for a 4 day trip, but I would do it again if I have the option. Looking forward to some videos and pictures as I didn't use the camera much myself.

I just walked in through the door !

Just some quick notes from my last day.
Men and my father paddled from vemhån to Lake Sveg 25 km.
We didn't sleep over as planned, because it went much faster than we thought.

Much more rapids than we expected !
Daddy is a kayak beginer and went under twice
The Alpacka just bounced down as it should

Pictures and trip report might be comming
PS, Next fellow should post a new thread in the Trip Report section .

I got home at 4 o clock in the afternoon yesterday after a 500km drive....

I briefly checked pictures and films and they looked OK but my GPS logger had a difficult time in the boat. It seems like it got very confused about our low speed and the fact that we mostly went in small cirkles On land, when we portaged and when I went on a 20km nightly adventure on my own it worked fine.

I will see if I get some time to at least do something about the pictures tonight, if so I will start a new thread under Trip Reports. If someone beats me and get first I won´t be sorry

I will try to make a movie (or movies) but I have more then 8GB of material to check......

I also have an AW to take care of

    Trip report thread started here.

So far pictures only, will get to editing video as soon as I can. I'm sure Moski or someone else will write a nice report.
