it gets cold in North Carolina?
Should serve you well at the upcoming MN hang!
    color me jealous.

You know, MedicineMan sees this he'll be asking you for a quote on the velcro thingies and put up a "Wanted to buy" posting for a SnugFit. I should have purchased one of those when they were offered by Speer...a work of art.

Yes! Since it presents another strip of velcro on it's outside edge, I can attach the PeaPod as well.

The Snugfit is a differentially baffled design, with stretchy mesh conical ends that gather it, so it requires no adjustment. I attach it to the hammock at the beginning of the cold season, and leave it there until spring!

There be mountains to the west of us, and to the north of us! Here in Jamestown, it gets chilly...

Too funny! But I bet he does just that!

They are all gone now, unless YB starts making them!

Any downside to the concept? Weight or not good for asym lay or...?

An UQ that doesn't require adjustment sounds like a dream come true!

I think it was the first differential cut. It's also radial cut and curvature cut.

They are a bit heavy but not overly so by full UQ standards. It would be nice to see YB keep them out in the market, but it's his call. A design quite ahead of its time and still unrivaled in terms of fit.

I wouldn't be so sure. He's still waiting to test his peapod with 6 ounces of overstuff! That's gonna take half a day just to compress.

I can't add much to what Wisenber said about the Snugfit. It works fine on the diagonal. I like it better than the PeaPod, mainly because it is so easily stowed, with the hammock attached, in a large stuff sack, then compressed on me Molly Mac Pack.

When you take little kids into the woods in winter, you need reliable warmth that fits, no matter how they sleep. Both the PeaPod and the Snugfit work well that way!

He'll want to get his Snugfit overstuffed too. You heard it here first.... He's gonna have to get a pulk for winter or a Dixon roller rig to carry his quilts.

(I don't like getting cold either and will carry what I need to to ensure warmth at night. For me, not a place to cut corners).

I really shoulda gotten a snugfit when I could, but the mortgage wasn't paid off yet.

You've got a point. His July kit is more like my October rig.
