Does anyone make anything like this? I saw some on one of Shug's Videos and would like to get some. I have some snakeskins already, but like the netting.

Several folks have made them recently. Hopefully they'll give you some feedback. Any news on your Traveler yet????

Hey, you could just make them yourself. I believe that is what Shug did to get his. You can look at the snake skins you already have and figure out how to make them from there. It's pretty easy.

Brandon said he would ship it next week. I ordered a OES Deluxe Spinn with pole mod and side pull outs today. Brian said it would be a couple of weeks. Hopefully Adam will have my Burrow and Incubator done soon. I'm anxious to get back out there. I can go as soon as I get the quilts. I have other hammocks and tarps to use, but I'm not sleeping on a pad again. No fun.
I don't have a sewing machine. Perhaps I could find someone around town to make them.
super easy, just cut the fabric to the size you want (just measure max diameter of the rolled up tarp, + seam allowance) taper it a little if you like (measure min diameter) and then ask anyone with a sewing machine to do one long seam (fold it in half, sew sew sew, done.) Maybe hem the edges, maybe add a pocket for your cord at the end.

my hammock gear weights total: 2430g (~86oz)
Winter: total 2521 (~89oz)
(see my profile for detailed weights)
gram counter, not gram weenie!
I could make you some, if you'd like. I made my own and they are easy, plus I bought a lot of no see um to make myself a seasonal netting. Let me know.
Sorry, Pithy. "Thread injector". We need to get an Ozark Hang together sometime soon.
TH, I have never even sewn a button on, much less used a "thread injector". I have considered buying one. Even gone so far as to look at them, but I'm not sure I would use it enough to make it worth buying one. I'm sure there is a large learning curve.
I'll send you a PM, Mountaingoat.
