Thumbs up VIDEO:Tarp in a Tempest

    Hey There Ya'll..........
When our Blizzard of 2010 hit a few days a go I had my tarp and hammock up and I was out on the road during the storm.
Well the tarp got covered and drifted in on but remained standing. Between the strong ridgeline, sliding prussic knots, shock-cord pull outs and a pole mod I would have been fine inside. Needless to say that had I occupied the hammock I would have been knocking snow off during the night. Also ....whether in a tent or tarp that kind of snow would require shelter maintenance.

Fun to finally have time to make a video and get out and play!

Have a slight bit of missing sound on this video towards the end....... Aaarghhh. I am just babbling any old ways!!!!!

    All secure in sector seven,
    Shug

Love it! It's been cold here, for sure, surrounded by mounds of fluffy whiteness! Nice turkeys in the yard, too!

And I'm glad to hear that your medical travails have been taken care of, Shug. TMI, man, TMI.......

COOL SHUG ... literally! Love the visitors at the end of the shoot. Seem to be missing a little sound there in one spot. Dang it's great to see ya in video again ... especially in the snow and cold you so dearly love!

Thanks pal ... really enjoyed it.

That was most entertaining to find during my coffee break!

Ha! I knew when you started shoveling that you were going to bury the camera!

Did you notice that those turkeys had a point-man, a middle-man and a six-man? They hopped off the fence in the same order as they flew up to the top of the fence!

    I love abusing cameras!
Been drilling and training those turkeys for maneuvers for quite a while... they are shaping up nicely.

Cold! Glad you didn't let those turkeys get ya. 'Nuther fun video to watch, especially here in the balmy South. Glad you made it home ok from your travels and travails... (copperhead huh? that smarts...)

You could do a video with just subtitles and that would be hilarious too.

    Thanks Shug!

I don't know about balmy South; it was 19* driving to school today. I admit, not quite 3*, but it's cold.

Another great video Shug! It's good to see that you're well...
