Integrating Guardian Bug Netting

Finished Project today, everything is closed on New Years Day so seemed like a good time to fire up the old thread injector.

Decided to go with the full length zipper.

folds nicely over the ridgeline when open.

Very roomy inside as you can see, but yes the floppy eno sides are still a problem, definately considering tie outs.

Packs down extremely small. Eno DN, bug netting, ridgeline whoopie slings all inside or attached to the outside of the Eno's attached stuff sack for the hammock.

So there it is sorry about no weight being listed I dont have a working kitchen scale atm.

Nice job integrating the bug net. Looks pretty roomy inside, floppy sides or no.

I like Hennessy's integrated bug net, but for the price I love the guardian bug net. It also makes me feel a little less claustrophobic.

It seems to me that most that get rid of the guardian do so because of its weight and bulk. It's an excellent solution for car camping, or those not concerned with stuffing the thing into a pack. Integrated netting just takes the hassle out of the setup. Mind you it eliminates a few of the advantages as well. I was with Ryvr day one when he got the thing (Eno one link system), and right off the bat I didn't like the Slap Strap system, or the bug net. The hammock itself though is actually very comfy. My .02$

What about the sleps didn't you like? I got straps and a gaurdian over christmas, what should I be looking out for withthese?

the slap straps will stretch and stretch and stretch and there doesnt seem to be an end to it. The also have a limited number of hook up sites.

The netting I just found bulky and tedious to set up.

doesn't pretty much everyone usenylon webbing though? Why does ENO's stretch and others not? Is there a certain type of webbing out there that doesn't?

And by certain amount of hook up sites do you mean certain number of loops or that you're restricted on where you can hang moreso with the slapstrap's vs. others?
