An old cheapie day pack that was loaned out and came back filled with cans of "beverages". Thanks Knotty!

I never drink water. I'm afraid it will become habit-forming.

Bleufin, you make this very easy for me.

    1. Three Season Crowsnest Underquilt from www.hammockgear.com It is so comfortable and light weight and easy to setup and use.

    2. Whoopieslings from www.whoopieslings.com Make my setup faster and easier. I would encourage anyone to try these.

    3. Hammock bag from http://arrowheadequipment.webs.com/ It makes it easy to stow my hammock and it stays on the hammock at all times.
Exactly my purchases of the last two months and in the same order of appreciation.

    Thanks, Tjalling

My 2010 stove/pot/windscreen setup works pretty good so far.

I took a big Jet Boil pot and made a caldera cone to go around it and I use an alky burner with felted carbon for a wick. I'm getting 16 oz boiled in 4-5 min. with half a ounce of fuel.

The Mapping Tool app for my Palm Pre along with Mobile Atlas Creator allowed me to make OSM maps out of Google Satellite, Terrain and Terra Server maps for my Linville Gorge Tip.

My Montrail Mountain Masochist trail runners are pretty nifty as well.

My custom Three Season Crowsnest (soon to be named something else) is the finest piece of gear I have gotten this year, and the finest of all years gear combined. The craftsmanship is astounding - I make gear and I don't think I could duplicate Adam's work. Snug as a bug in a rug.

    Very interesting thread

and I am glad to see that the cottage industries represented on this forum are so well represented! Makes me glad that the smaller innovators are having a good year.

but I got mine at half the price. Fits a small canister and my Giga stove. And I made a lighter no-see-um- stuff sack for it.

you all know the link to that one.
So warm. Comes up the sides, since I am small, and wraps around me.

    My favorite new gear...

High Sierra Sniveller... http://www.jacksrbetter.com/Wearable%20Quilts.htm scroll down...The extra width though the body area is nicer than I originally imagined... Guess those fans of larger TQ have converted me.

The Key Chain Lantern... http://www.jacksrbetter.com/Wearable%20Quilts.htm Under an ounce... A real plus in camp pleasure.

Black Rock Down Beanie... http://www.blackrockgear.com/ ... Again under an ounce and a real cooker.

    Pan
    Ounces to Grams.
