Howdy boys and girls,
just got my new 10x11' JRB tarp and wanted to try it out when I read the original "wodd burning stove thread" so I though I combine two things. So, I set out to try the tarp and I must say I really very happy with it: Big, yet very packable and very intelligently fitted with loops so all kinds of setups are possible. Also, I brought my stove and fitted everything together. Why, you may ask, did I want want to ruin a perfectly good and brand new tarp at the very beginning? Well, it ain't quite so. Have a look at the foto stroy and let me hear what you think. http://picasaweb.google.com/kdr911/N...eat=directlink
Conclusion is: A wood burning stove as a closed system with stovepipe and everything works really well, but you got to be constantly on alert so things don't go wrong. I might do it again, but you can't really relax while firing away. PVC and fire just don't mix too well.
All the best, saupacker
