How much would you charge to make one for me? I am hopeless with a sewing machine.

That thing is only 12.5" accross in the middle. Although it is very uncomfortable, almost painful, it did make me feel sexy wearing it and believe me you wear it.
Oh, I laughed so hard when reading that hammock name and seeing the picture! Heck of a name, and I wonder just what possessed you to think that would work

On the other hand, incredible finished Bridgeskin, that is simply incredible.

Dutch is like the new generation, not even forty yet I don't think, father of a toddler for crying out loud. The coming wave of Tomorrow's Hammocker .

Past fifty OFs like me who pay college tuition bills, not even so yesterday, so, well, last millennium.

Dutch - I can only say congratulations.

All of the accolades are extremely well deserved.

I think the straps you are seeing is velcro. When it is in back pack mode I roll up the wings and the velcro holds them in. Just make sure the soft part of the velcro is on the inside of the hammock. The piece of 10" webbing you see is the backing of the shoulder straps. The shoulder straps are are attached by sandwiching the hammock between 2 pieces of webbing. I was afraid of sewing on the hammock and then tugging all day on the shoulder straps just to put a small tear in it. The webbing sandwich was the best atachment I could come up with. Plus I put the shoulder straps at the foot where it takes less weight. Not that my feet are small, but my head is sooo big.

Actually the thong wasn't that bad if you used a thick pad, but it was unstable. If you rolled at night you fell.

lvleph that spreadsheet you made has helped me 3 times now. So I will work on some directions over the next week or so. I thought about taking picture when I was making it, now I wish I was more organized.

Thank you all once again for the compliments.
    Peace Dutch

How could you hold it in while making it? I know it must of been killing you when you were getting close to not post what you were doing. Great job! Hope to see it at the next hang.

Awesome! Incredible! That is some fine work!

I nominate you and this project for the Hammock Forums Hall of Fame.

But we don't have a Hall of Fame.... I think Just Jeff needs to make HOF category and let this be the first.
