    Mac - the ends are not insulated, just some uncoated ripstop, about 1.0 or less oz per sq yard. Stops a brisk wind, but not much else. I can even see light through the end panels.

    It is the ability to seal the uq to the end panels or the hammock end and making the top shell an exact duplicate of the Bridge Hammock that is the real secret.
