    Question Turtle Dog Stand Limits

Ok so i am looking at some options for DIY Portable Hammock stands that don't break the bank and i really like the turtle dog design how ever at 350lb weight limits are always a big concern on mine so my question is does anyone have any experience with this stand supporting this kind of weight? What i Really want is the Tato Stand on Dutchweargear.com but that is out of my Price range

With regular 2x2s? I'm just south of 300 and I just built mine. I'm hoping I don't end up on the ground with wood splinters flying through the air!

You could look in the Tensahedron design. It's easy and (can be) cheap to make and pretty amazing.

Jumping in to follow this thread. I've been really curious about a portable hammock stand, but I'm actually in the 360-375 range and wondered how a TurtleDog stand or a Tensahedron stand would hold up.
