SkyTent 2 Sock Mod Idea - Is it feasible?

Hey guys, I had a thought today, and I wanted to see what your thoughts were. The SkyTent is going to be an integral part of my luxury gear build. My idea is to utilize the bugnet enclosure and tarp as a sock for colder weather. I would accomplish this by having a piece of Sil-nylon that gets attached inside of the bugnet. I would have the tarp sheltered down on the side of the wind. In my mind, the nylon layer will help build up body heat inside of the "sock". Do you think this would work? Here's a picture of the Skytent2, if you aren't familiar with them:

I may be off here, but it sounds a bit like Sierra Madre’s Winter Barrier.

They have a similar style of product. By which I mean a bug net that is attached to the tarp instead of the hammock. And this is an add on they sell. I don’t see a video on it right away tho.
