Had a great time at the Gorge! Thanks to Hawk-eye for arranging such a great gathering... and for the shuttle to the far side of the Gorge. My pictures (which are mainly landscape pics) can be found on flickr in the Linville Gorge set.

Like I said on top of Hawksbill, that one night hike we all took, you've got a real talent for photography.
Those are some great shots, Jennifer.
Hope to see ya' again in the Gorge.

    .
Sorry to be so long before posting. I haven't had the time to be on the forums since getting back from the hang. Got a lot of catching up to do!

I never expected to see 40 some hammocks at LG at one time ...

It was good to put faces and names together. I tried my best to personally say hello to each of you, so if I overlooked anyone, it was not intended, and you have my apologies!

I do have to say a special thanks to Hawk-eye! You were very kind to do all it took to make it an event. I'm sure we'll never know the real amount of time and effort you so unselfishly gave! (We'll just have to make up for that in the coming year, eh?? ) You have my sincere thanks pardner!

And for all the mapping tools/data (and Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie/ Liver Pudding discussions ) he offers on his site that help us as we move around in the gorge, thanks Ken! It sure makes it easier on us!

Hope everyone that was able to make it to the hang got to see just why we "gorge rats" get kinda' excited when talking about LG. You can come and go for years upon years and still have deeper and deeper areas to explore. It's a rich place. Hope you all get a chance to make it back!!
