    slowhike,did'nt seem right without you & Shug.Hawkeye,we all pretty much departed after the Falls.I'm still at Beech,it's snowing!Hanging at the Ditch Sat. night on way home!

    I've been trying to figure out the purple leafed plant also. Went thru most of my books and googled it with out any luck also. Going to go to the Extension office and see if a fella down there knows what it is. Wish I took time to examine it now. It may be small but it sure is a little jewel.

    I believe that plant is some type of Rue, there are 10 species in our area. I'm guessing maybe a meadow rue that has turned blue from the cooler temps. The foliage matches just not the color.
