Thanks to everyone who made this such an awesome trip! NinjaRanger, Walker Talker and I all had a wonderful time and will be attending more group hangs in the future. The trick-or-treating on Saturday really made NinjaRanger's day and was an extremely nice gesture from all the Gorge Rats. We all felt welcomed and included, just like I knew we would. Walker Talker had such a good time, she actually signed up for the forums last night!

We didn't get many pictures, but I'll try to post the ones we have sometime over the next few days. Trip highlights included the aforementioned trick-or-treating, an awesome night hike up on Hawksbill Saturday night and the Saturday morning trip to Louise's! Not sure which was better...the pie or the company

P.S. NinjaRanger stuck one of the glow in the dark Gorge Rats he got from trick-or-treating on his fish tank to "scare" his beta. That was a Halloween he'll never forget!

    Hey Cutter,

I bought my boyfriend a Red Green t-shirt years ago when we first met. There are more R/G fans out there than you know. Keep your stick on the ice, friend.

So glad he liked them! (Also glad he didn't try to eat them. ) Not sure which kid liked his glow in the dark Gorge Rats better -- NinjaRanger or Hawk-eye.

In Wytheville now, washing my stinky hikers clothes. Couldn't take the smell anymore on my drive back. Great to see some old friends, and make some new ones. Had a great time last night with hawk-eye, mountaincamper, hickery and jerryw! Will9 post my pics and video when I get back to the sweatshop in Ohio. (Just kidding, stormcrow. Kind of.) And BTW, livermush is good stuff!

Can't tell you how awesome it was to see you again, Fin! Tried to say bye Sunday morning, but you were still snoozing away in your hammock. Safe travels home, my friend!

    Trip Report soon

I just wanted to let everybody know how much fun I had, and what a pleasure it was to meet each of you.
I had a ball and I can't wait til May, or whenever ya'll want to do this again.
I am going to post my report soon.
Right now, all I want is a bath and a few private moments with a q-tip. Don't even go there, Hooch, I know what you are thinking... LOL.

It was great to see you again, Fin!

Who's KTStone? I met a guy named Airborne who was with Starrione , but I don't recall KTStone.

Glad to see you got your name straightened out, PF!
