    new DIY top cover pics

    I was using my jerry chair as a make shift top cover, now I can use it for something else. I used black ripstop 1.1, and shock chord. and 2 chord locks.
    I think its 5 oz. stuffs to about 3" X 6". I like contrasting thread so you can see the stitches, and there are a few lines that look more like curvy mountain roads. still getting the hang of the thread injector. but I think this will work.

    Because you fall through the clouds if you try to lay on them, so the next best thing is a hammock.

    I like it! I'm thinking of making one myself for this winter. Though I am surprised by how well the bugnet blocks the wind...it's probably too breathable for deep winter warmness...

    How did you pattern this out.

    I used fins tutorial. mainly clothes pin a big piece of ripstop nylon to the ridge line and cut around about 4 inches from the bug net.. then I roll hemmed the edged and left enough room to run shock cord around the edge.
