The only wood stove I have ever had and/or used is the littlebug junior. I enjoy it, it has certainly worked well for me. Here is a link to the site where you can buy it:

and here is a link to Grizz's video on it:

Unfortunately I do not know too much about wood stoves (although I would like to learn a bit more about them), and as I said it is the only wood stove I have ever used, and was just providing an option. However, here is a link to one of Shug's videos that talks a little bit about some more options:

    http://www.youtube.com/user/shugemer...45/U7qWy0PX_uw

He also has some other videos, if you look through them, that have demonstrations of some of the other stoves he has used.

i felt the same way at one time about the BB....but once you see one up close and see how well it's made...and see it in action ..you will have a change or heart

i never did find blue prints on how to make a gas wood stove i just made one from pics ....and took it from there...i have made a few over the last year..
but as i'm coming to find out...i will end up at some point buying a BB
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold

I've got a Swiss Ranger Volcano Stove, after watchin Shug's stove videos. Great little stove that you can use with wood or alcohol. Best of all, it's $10!!! Ya can't beat that. It's a bit tall but comes with a cup to boil water in that fits into the stove.

ZEN Stoves has a good section for wood burners: http://zenstoves.net/Wood.htm
I THOUGHT GETTING OLDER WOULD TAKE MUCH LONGER.
