    Love that area ... just because I have done it a few times.
    Here are a couple of pix of me, Hickery and the Turk in our pre-hammock days. Circa 1993.
    We were soaked from the night before..... drying out for the day. it was so wet nothing dried. We moved on as it felt gloomy in there.

    Those are awesome shots Shug. I miss seeing real old school wool sweaters on the trail. They may be heavy, but they worked so well. I was part of a good old boy household, so I would never have worn a "yuppie" sweater around school or town, but I gladly had one for scout trips. Good piece of gear.
