I'm good. Been doing some kitchen organizing. Teaching myself to make bread, saving up for a new heavy duty viking stand mixer to finally tackle Brioche.

I enjoyed this thread... Good stories.

Mine's kind of boring... I hike in five fingers and I have hemophilia... hence barefoot bleeder. I had some friends that used to call me "peach," because I bruise like a peach... but I haven't really been given many nicknames that I like. None of them have anything to do with hiking, anyway.

Besides, I'm a teacher and don't want students to find me, so many different names on the intertubez helps :-)

Hvtkē Yvhv Is what my Great Grandmother use to call me so I went by White Wolf or Wolf as a nickname growing up.

Then as I was hiking the AT in 2000 I ran across a retired British Officer named Brian.
We all bunked at the Fontana Dam Hilton before heading in to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
Sitting around the Camp fire that night he decided to give me what he called a Unofficial minor Knighting
    - Sir with a small s as he put it - from then on I was sir White Wolf

But I also go as Kilted Hiker for obvious reasons

But, I wouldn't call fulminated my trailname. I'm sure there is one out there for me, but fulminated is the name I use on forums because I tend to be highly opinionated and I'm not afraid to tell you all about it.
I think your trail name should prolly revolve around that expensive cooler you don't let anyone touch.

I don't mind if anyone touches, sits on or puts their foodstuffs in my 269 dollar yeti cooler. It held ice for 4 days in the trunk of my car sitting in direct sun light. Money well spent, to me I'll never have to buy another cooler.

I've also used it for sous vide a few times.

Plus, I think there's already someone with the yeti name around here :9

    same to you, sir.

the weather turns cool. the leaves are funny colors and the smell of boston butts and vinegar wafts on the breeze. best time of the year.

Probably self explanatory but didn't know much about hammocks ( or related gear for that matter ) when I first learned of HF.

Will hopefully gain a true trail name eventually.

I suppose it would help if I got out there more often!?!?!
