    Noob question about suspensions...

Folks, I am thinking about getting an all in one aftermarket suspension for my incoming DJ.
On the Whoopie Sling site, it says to specify if it's for a Hennessy. The all in one from JRB does not mention this. Anyone able to tell me why there would be the differentiation? Tarp attachment possibly?

Being new to this, and not having seen any hammocks, other than on the web, I am prolly jumping the gun. But I like to jump the gun...

Is there any reason why I should not go with one of these Whoopies based suspensions? I sure like the Dutch biner and clip components...

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I can only say that when I switched out the regular ropes off of my Hennessy and added my homemade whoopies... that the regular fixed loop size that works just fine on my Clark, was short on my Hennessy. I ended up doing a wrap with it that was shorter than what the regular hennessy rope did. I added the whoopies I had but I'm thinking that I need to make some longer ones and replace these.

Either whoopie will work ...... it is how you put it on.

I just switched my HH via that video. Easier than changing a tire on your car.

the reason you have to specify if it for a hh hammock is becuase there are two holes that you feed the amsteel through to attach it to your hammock. Which takes more amsteel to do then regular hammocks. So if you are ordering 6ft lenth they would have to add a couple of inches while they are making the whoopie sling.

Im not posotive about what i said but i think i read it somewhere

JRB's all in ones will work fine with the HH. Really a whoopie is a whoopie is a whoopie.

Again, thanks! I will likely go with the JRB. They all look like great kit, but the JRB comes with two Dutch biners and two Dutch clips, and the others don't, which makes it a complete set.

We make our whoopie slings a bit different for a HH. The fixed eye is smaller and the distance between the fixed eye and the exit of the constrictor is longer to allow sufficient length to attach to the HH. PM me if you need more details.

Thanks, Smokebait, that actually makes total sense, especially now that I watched the video.
