Central PA peeps... extremely short notice.

My girls are going to be gone this weekend. I've been making some progress with my health issues, or think I have. I'd like to get out this weekend for a very short, very easy hang close to the car. I've got a few places in mind but am very willing to be flexible. Since my ladies are away I probably will not go out alone. But I'd love to have some company. As I say, very short hike (<1 mile), very easy (flat) and close to the car.

    Any interest?
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Tiadahtan State Forest CCC Camp has some good places. Bradley Wales Picnic area nearby overlooking the Canyon. Bald Eagle State Forest has some good stuff. I'm sure there are other places if we think hard enough. If this works... who knows... I might dare to try MAHHA.

I've been getting some professional massage therapy for the past couple of months. I think I may be moving better but I have to take it real easy. I'm still mobility impaired which is the reason for the parameters.

Iam up in Mckean county, if your interested in coming to the Allegheny national forest I would be interested. Keep it in mind for next summer even, a lot of trails around here. I would be interested in checking out your area next summer as well.

A bit farther afield than I had planned. But only because I don't know the area at all. I am really concerned about getting in over my head at this point. My best speed is about 1 mph and slower than that when I am facing rocky terrain.

Glad to hear you are able to venture out some. Take it easy and enjoy yourself. I have to say ditto to Animalcontrol.
