I picked up a WBBB from another member here. The few times I slept in it before I used a light top quilt. But now that it is colder, last night I used a Pad and a sleeping bag. It was a PITA. The Zipper on the bag is the standard right hand and the WBBB is on the left. It makes it real tourgh to get in. Something you guys might want to consider when ordering if you use a sleeping bag.

I do not understand the comment "standard right zipper". As a right handed person, as most of us are, it is much easier to open a zipper on the left side of my bag. I reach across my body with my right hand, and zip it up or down.
This is another reason to use quilts, or a semi-rectangular bag. Any semi-rec bag can be used as a L or R zip.
Many sleeping bags come with zippers on the left. They are designed to zip together with a right zipped bag to form a double bag. Lots of mummy bags are this way.

With adequate underside protection you can leave the bag unzipped as a quilt. That's how I used my mummy bag.
If this was directed at me, as a response to my post, I understand many sleeping bags are Right zip. I just do not understand the "Standard" portion of his post. To me, a right handed person would want a Left zip. Most of us are Right handed, so to my way of thinking, most bags would be Left zip. To zip 2 bags together, they sometimes need to be opposing zips. Mine are semi-rectangular, with full zips. They zip together with no zip down the center, but on the sides instead.
That comment was not to anyone in particular. Merely a comment on various zipper options.

Thanks for posting this... It is definitely something I would have overlooked in getting ready to order the wbbb.
I was once in the outdoor retail business. For some reason, manufacturers chose the right side of mummy bags as the "standard" side for right-handed folks.
Yes, I know, it makes no sense.
Now, on a right-side zipper the draft tube is sewn to the upper portion of the bag so that it hangs down over the zipper. But to compound the matter, when they offer a left-side zip to mate it needs the draft tube to be on the bottom portion of the bag, but when used solo the draft tube falls away from the zipper.
Yes, I know, it makes no sense.
What a great reason to invest in a TQ!
