I agree! The insultex report was fantastic. (whispers) Another item to add to the list!
Liked the fire lit scene and the chittering, too. Looking forward to part 2!

P.S. The map thingy at the beginning is extra effort on your part well spent, very helpful to viewers.
Hey, entirely possible. I get up your way now and then, I have a son attending Wheaton College.
Let's go again! For real, not virtual.
I did notice on my editor that the music was bit much; I think the conversion that youtube did on this one accentuates the difference. I spend more time tinkering with sound on Parts 2, and 3.
My weekend was getting squeezed at both ends, and driving to Brown's Hollow and back was not making any sense. I did want to get and go though.
Forest Glen has a regular camp-ground, with water and toilets, and firewood for sale, electric hookups, $15/night fees and a friendly ranger that comes around to say howdy. Plus a guide to camp they give that says "Don't put anything on the trees". Adds up to not using a hammock in that campground. The two "Group Camps" are well away from all that, intended for back-country camping, have no water, and the rangers don't come by. One needs to give them a week's notice that you want to use the camps and the backpacking trail, but there's no fee, and no hand-out on use of the group camp. Sooooo, they don't ask if I'm putting things on trees, and I don't tell.
Time to get out and about Walking Bear!
Not so much effort actually. I brought up a pdf of the map on my computer screen and ran a program that highlights my cursor with a big yellow dot when the right button is pressed down. In the background a movie screen capture program.... I did think it would make sense to see just how one could add up 11 miles and that segment tells the story.

Ah, you sly fox, Grizz. Good tip. :-)
Great vid, Griz. So, were those howls coyotes or the Boy Scouts next door?
