Welcome fellow NC hanger! I love the Wilson Creek area. I try to go up that way every year as our church has a camp on Hwy 90 near Collettsville. I have jumped off of Harpers Creek Falls in the past. That water up there stays cold year around! Did you do the 12 mile section with mutiple creek crossings?

Yep, Harper Creek Trail was one section of my trip - and also the exciting part. It started raining heavily the last night around 1am, causing the creek to rise significantly. Made my three remaining creek crossings a race against time...I had to pack up and hit the trail as soon as it was light enough to do so, otherwise I would have been stuck there.
Thinking about it....would have been kinda nice
